My name is Tim Hogins and I am South African entrepreneur and I am happy and proud to say that 10 years on, and I made it. It’s all about Consistency.

I don’t know if Tim 10 years ago could ever have imagined what I’ve built and yet here I am. My goal is to share my growth and the lessons I have learnt along the way. Again it’s about Consistency.  I want to help fellow entrepreneurs who were where I was 10 years ago to recognise their goals, and to see that yes, it’s possible!

When you lose everything and have nothing it’s easy to believe that you will never amount to anything. But as someone who built an entire empire out of nothing, I can tell you that you can rise out of your past bigger and better than you ever imagined! It’s about Consistency

I was raised to be the best version of myself. Everything is what you make of it. There is always room to grow and improve.

In everything I do I always apply the principles of hard work, passion, tenacity but above all Consistency. Green Outdoor Gyms is one of my greatest achievements and most successful BIG ideas. It’s a dream I nurtured for 2 years and almost lost to unreliable partners and greedy investors. Now, this same business has made me a multi-millionare and its growing bigger and stronger each and every year.

One of the biggest lessons I have learnt throughout the years is to keep moving towards your goal, Consistency, no matter what. As an aspiring entrepreneur no is not answer you accept, no is not ever an option and setbacks are a part of the process. You cannot afford to allow refusals and one setbacks to shut down your goals and dreams.

There were many times it seemed like the end had come, but I chose to pick myself up, dust myself off and keep on running. And, I used those experiences as lessons to make better choices, being consistent in myself and my dream.

Once that ball starts rolling there is no stopping it – your idea and your business will only continue to grow bigger and better from there. But, always remember that luck and momentum can only take you so far. You have to be willing to do the work and to chase after your goal, your baby, your carrot at the end of the stick, diligently, consistently, and persistently, no matter what obstacles you come across.

That is the power of passion – a good idea with no passion behind it always remains a good idea. The secret to converting your BIG idea into a multi-million Rand company like I did, consistently work your a** off and never take your eyes off the prize. Be consistent, always.
